Identify the type of change
A traveller-requested change is handled differently from an airline schedule change or cancellation. Do not accept the first automated alternative before checking the whole itinerary.
- who initiated the change
- which sectors are affected
- whether flights share one booking
- latest acceptable arrival time
Send one complete context
Provide the booking reference, traveller name, affected flight and business purpose. Do not send sensitive identity documents through the general web form.
Mention transfers, accommodation, events or separate tickets connected to the journey immediately.
Check rules and alternatives
Change, refund or replacement options depend on the fare, airline, cause and specific booking. Available connections, arrival time and the impact on the rest of the journey need to be compared.
Where the situation allows, DADEXtravel explains the available options and conditions before an action is taken.
Recheck the complete itinerary
The new confirmation, timings, terminals, baggage and connected services need to remain aligned. The corporate process should also define who approves any price difference and how change documentation is retained.
